SBLim 2 / MiG 15 UTI - update, more photos
This is just a little update to the gallery of those two-seaters
This time more speedbrakes and their wells, some nose and intake interior details, engine, few shots of the belly (still unclear area) and last but not least - the ejection seat here displayed with full gear.
All this stuff together with former galleries available here and here might be useful by building this beautiful plane from the Trumpeter kit (which is not perfectly accurate...).
...and the seat:
De Haviland Sea Venom FAW.21, XG613 Polish Aviation Museum, Kraków
This beautifuly preserved Sea Venom was recently acquired by Polish Aviation Museum from RAF Duxford. Its overall condition is excellent and luckily this bird is on display inside the main hangar.
I am not sure if there is original paintscheme on it or not, however the shade of sky colour is much paler than Xtracolor enamel while extra dark sea gray is a close match to Xtracolor one. Something to consider next time I will paint any FAA model.
Hope you enjoy this small walkaround.

Ju 88 - wheel wells of the RAF Hendon exhibit
During my September 2012 RAF Hendon Museum visit I had a chance to take some shots of the Ju 88 wheel well in detail. Usualy it is hardly possible to find any photo reference of this area in books published. Chance I could not miss.
The quality is poor I know but the specific lights and darkness on this exhibition explains a lot. Still I think this stuff is worthy sharing on my blog.
I had only few shots from my HTC mobile and just a moment for swift action by the plane.
Many thanks for Hendon staff for making this possible. Usually they do not grant the permission to do so.
So, here's the result. Not a luxurious quality but still useful when you would like to go a bit furher in superdetailing any Ju 88 scale model. The photos cover almost entire wheel well area.
